How to Play With Pixels in Adobe Elements Tricks and Tips

Adobe Elements is a user friendly program that allows persons with basic computer knowledge to edit their digital photos as is done with the more professional programs such as Photoshop. Adobe Elements gives you a wide range of modes in which you can run the program depending what you want to do with the digital images. So you can do a full edit or a quick fix on your photographs and the good part is you can do this all with so much ease when using Adobe elements.

With Adobe Elements you will be basically manipulating the pixels as pixels are the smallest components of an image. With Elements you will get access to tools that will allow you to change the shades of individual pixels and even delete pixels to remove undesired parts on an image. With Elements you will be able to remove undesired backgrounds such as shadows and all this is done by just changing the colour of the pixels within the shadow image. There are many ways of removing undesired backgrounds one of them being the deleting of pixels and another being changing the colour of the pixels such that it blends in with other components of the image.

With Elements you will also be able to manipulate the pixels in an image using some of the tools such as the smudge, blur and sharpening tools. With these tools you will be able to fix a photo that appears to be over exposed so you can actually adjust the pixels forming the background to blend with the targeted image. You can also correct an image that appears blurred by using the sharpen tool which will increase the number of pixels allow the image to become clearer.

Then there is the burn tool which manipulates the colour of the pixels in such a way that you can change the appearance of images by giving them better tones. Thus you can use this tool for images that may have been over exposed such that the image has parts that are too light. If however the image or photo appears to be too dark you can correct this by using the dodge tool which will reduce the tone of the pixels in the targeted area to a lighter one.

So you can agree that Adobe Elements is a program that allows you to manipulate the elements of a photograph which are in actual fact the pixels. Since pixels are separate individual dots that make up an image you can change the colour of individual pixels in a certain region of a photo without affecting the colour of the pixels in a nearer proximity. Thus you will have the freedom of changing the background colours giving your photograph that unique touch which cannot be achieved without the help of photo editing programs such as Adobe elements.
